VIDEO TEACHES YOUNG CHILDREN THE VALUE OF MONEY

“The Money Mammals: Saving Money is Fun” DVD, created and co-produced by Larchmont Village residents John and Eileen Lanza, aims to teach young children the value of money.

“Kids are inundated with messages to consume before they’re two,” said John Lanza, producer of the Emmy award winning show, “Life With Louie. “Which is why we must teach them about the value of money when they’re minds are so receptive.”

Children learn to “share and save, and spend smart too” through the music and antics of character Joe the monkey and his friends.

Among special features on the DVD is a discussion with Lanza and the show’s financial consultant that focuses on the way parents can inject money value issues into their children’s lives. “Kids and Money” is a look at what kids think about money; “Sing With Us” features a video jukebox with all songs on the DVD.
