LATE BREAKING NEWS

 
Metro, together with the City of Los Angeles, invites you to a community meeting to discuss the optional Wilshire/Crenshaw station being evaluated for the future Westside Subway Exten-sion. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Report (DEIS/DEIR) currently underway for the Westside Subway Extension identifies Wilshire/Crenshaw as an optional station. The recommendation about whether or not to include a station at this location will be a part of the overall recommendations when the envi-ronmental analysis concludes.

Community input is one of the factors that will be considered in making the recommendation. The Metro Board of Directors will make the ultimate decision later in the year.

We will also be joined by colleagues from the City of Los Angeles Planning Department to discuss land use planning guidelines for this area. There will be several ways at this meeting for you to share your views on whether there should be a Wilshire/Crenshaw station.

The meeting is on Wed., March 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd.
