LATE-BREAKING NEWS

 
At its hearing on Dec. 1, the board of Building and Safety Commissioners denied the three appeals filed by the Larchmont Bungalow in early November.

Appeal #1: To determine that the Dept. of Building and Safety (“LADBS”) erred or abused its discretion in not terminating the affidavit that the city required before issu-ing the Larchmont Bunga-low’s building permit.

Appeal #2: To determine that the LADBS erred or abused its discretion in issu-ing a Notice of Intent to Re-voke the Larchmont Bunga-low’s building permit and Certificate of Occupancy.

Appeal #3: To allow a six-month extension of time for the Larchmont Bungalow to comply with the LADBS Or-der to Comply regarding the Larchmont Bungalow’s un-approved use as a restaurant with seating for dining with-out the required permits, in-spections and approvals

In summary, the board concluded that the city (LADBS) acted correctly, and it is now up to the owner of the Larchmont Bungalow to comply with the law.
